Day 2 – 4
A few days at leisure in Miami to enjoy the many unforgettable sights and sounds of this cool, fun-filled city. Cruise along Ocean Drive and take in the unique atmosphere of the exciting South Beach area, or perhaps explore the fascinating, multi-coloured Art-Deco neighbourhood buildings. You can shop in one of the many upscale shopping districts that are close by, or perhaps just relax and sunbathe on the beautiful white sand beach. At night the Miami comes alive and there is something to amuse everyone, with clubs, bars and eateries galore in walking distance to the hotel.
After checking out of the hotel you will transfer independently to Miami port to board your Eastern Caribbean Cruise for the next ten nights. Departure is at 16:00.
Day at Sea
A full day at sea to enjoy all the activities on board.
Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
A luscious island surrounded with rolling hills, high mountains and majestic waterfalls. Founded in the early 1500s by Christopher Columbus, the Taino people lived here for centuries. Explore the gorgeous area where you can paddle through manatee reserves, soar through the treetops by zip wire or visit El Choco National Park, a protected jungle with two lagoons.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
This afternoon the ship arrives into San Juan. Explore San Juan’s Old Town and marvel at the beautiful architecture and key sights, which include the Governor’s Mansion and the 17th Century Fort San Cristobal. A visit to the Rainforest is also on the must-see list along with a trip to Bacardi Rum Distillery which includes a chance to sample the product!
St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands
St. Croix is the perfect place to enjoy powdery white beaches, clear blue waters, coral-reef snorkeling and fun sea turtles. St Johns, Antigua
Antigua’s colourful capital with pastel-coloured buildings lined up along the streets and bustling markets. An abundance of sweeping beach bays with white yachts speckled throughout the shallow waters, it’s really a place like no other. Stroll along the many boardwalks and pier or settle on the beach and enjoy the warm waters.
Bassetrre, St Kitts
This morning your ships arrives in Bassetrre, St Kitts, a beautiful island that offers the Caribbean in microcosm – stunning sandy beaches, lush tropical greenery and gorgeous sunshine year round. Some of the most amazing activities here take you to see the natural beauty of the island; hike a rainforest trail to the top of a volcano or snorkel in the clear sea around Smitten’s Bay.
Philipsburg, St Maarten
Our port of call today is Philipsburg, St Maarten. With an area of only 37 square miles, the island of St. Maarten is the smallest landmass in the world to be divided between two governments. The southern Dutch half offers casinos, duty-free shopping and island culture. The French half is all subdued sophistication. Whichever part you visit, you will be seduced by the warm sunshine, breath-taking scenery and powder white sands. Explore the hills on a zip line or on horseback, savour the local cuisine from a barbecue grill or simply relax the day away.
Day 13 - 14
Day at Sea
Arrive back into Miami at 07:00 this morning and travel independently to Miami International Airport where you will return your car for your return flight home.
