From Scottsdale, Arizona, travel north among cacti and desert scenery to watch the sun set on the Grand Canyon, then meet Navajos Indians and marvel at the spectacular rock formations on a four wheel drive tour of Monument Valley. Head west for a cruise of Lake Powell then see the fantastic multi-hued rocks in Utah’s Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park before finishing the trip in non-stop Las Vegas.

Fly to Phoenix - Scottsdale
After arriving in the USA transfer to Scottsdale and meet your fellow travellers at the Welcome Reception, where your Tour Director will brief you on your forthcoming journey.

Scottsdale – Sedona – Grand Canyon
Leave Scottsdale to travel north through cactus-dotted landscape to Sedona, Arizona, and then drive through the spectacular Oak Creek Canyon, with its multi-toned cliffs and sandstone spires before arriving at the Grand Canyon in time for the sunset. (B,D)

Grand Canyon – Monument Valley
Take an optional flight over the Grand Canyon then move on to Desert View Point for more incredible views before heading for Monument Valley, a Navajo Tribal Park spanning some 30,000 acres. Monument Valley’s distinctive mesas and buttes are familiar from countless westerns, and your overnight stop is at Goulding’s Lodge in the heart of the valley, where Hollywood directors and stars stayed during the making of films like Fort Apache and Stagecoach. Enjoy a Navajo Cookout and entertainment from local Navajos in the evening. (B,D)

Monument Valley – Lake Powell
Explore Monument Valley’s monolithic rock formations of red sandstone on a four wheel drive tour with an experience Navajo guide. The tour then continues westwards to the man-made Lake Powell, surrounded by sandy beaches and red-rock canyon walls. Take an afternoon cruise on the lake and see the huge Glen Canyon Dam and Antelope Canyon’s ‘tapestry’ walls. There is free time later on to stroll along the lakeside Waheap Marina. (B,D)

Lake Powell
Free day, with an opportunity to take an optional excursion on the Colorado River, winding through the towering walls of Glen Canyon. Alternatively you could take a flight above the lake and Glen Canyon Dam, or simply relax and enjoy the spectacular setting. (B)
Lake Powell – Bryce Canyon – Zion National Park
Depart for Utah’s Bryce Canyon, driving through the park with its brightly coloured sandstone pillars, or ‘hoodoos’ and then visit nearby Zion National Park, full of many-hued stone formations, dubbed ‘Little Zion’ by the Mormon pioneers. (B,D)

Zion National Park – Las Vegas
Time to tour Zion National Park before moving on to Las Vegas, arriving by mid-afternoon for an orientation tour of the self-styled ‘entertainment capital of the world’. You will be staying at the huge Treasure Island resort hotel, set in the heart of the city’s famous Strip, next to many of the mega casinos and attractions. Enjoy your last evening at the Farewell Dinner, hosted by your Tour Director. (B,D)

Las Vegas
After breakfast head back to the airport with your transfer included. (B)
