On-site tours include ‘Blast Off’, a multimedia sensory experience that simulates a shuttle launch, to the Nasa Tram Tour, which offers a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic mission control centre. Take a stroll through the historic Heights district, spend the day exploring the museums or visit the designer outlets on Washington Avenue.

In August, Houston enjoys summer high temperatures of 34.7°C, while in winter temperatures can fall to 6.2°C in January. The city also hosts a huge number of popular festivals throughout the year.
