This 10-night itinerary starts you off with three nights in Los Angeles where you can shop till you drop on famous rodeo drive, excite your adventurous side at Universal studios or relax on Santa Monica Beach. There is pretty much nothing you can’t do in this bustling Californian city and is the perfect choice for a pre-cruise city break

After your three nights you will board a Norwegian Cruise Line ship to embark you on a journey full of unravelled dining experiences, first class service, beautifully decorated staterooms and facilities that you won’t find on-board any other ship. This fantastic Mexican riviera itinerary gives you the chance to visit Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas and offers you a wide choice of excursions from horse riding or whale-watching in Puerto Vallarta, the history of Mazatlán and the incredible desert vistas of Cabo San Lucas (TM/NCL)

Days 1 – 3

Los Angeles

Fly to the ‘City of Angels’ – Los Angeles. This entertainment hub teems with fun activities and cultural hotspots to explore. Head to the art galleries, such as the J. Paul Getty Centre or the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, or the theatre to see both well-known productions and locally-produced shows.  If you’re travelling as a family, be sure not to miss Universal Studios Hollywood – a haven for kids and adults alike. And no trip to L.A would be complete without stopping by Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the Walk of Fame and Venice Beach Boardwalk.

Day 4

Check out of your hotel and transfer independently to the cruise terminal where you will board your ship, NCL Bliss, which will depart late afternoon.

Days 5 – 6

At sea

A couple of days will be spent at sea whilst you sail to the Mexican Riviera so enjoy all the facilities and activities this fabulous ship has to offer.

Day 7

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Cabo's signature landmark is El Arco ("The Arch"), a rock formation at the tip of "Land's End." The jewel of the Baja Peninsula is famous for its world-class sportfishing, as well as its high-end resorts and exclusive gated communities that line an area simply called "the Corridor."

Day 8

Mazatlán, Mexico

Combine a first-class beach resort with a city with an illustrious, colonial past and you've got Mazatlan. Sip on some Margaritas and enjoy the authentic Mexican cuisine. Take a drive along the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains. Then visit the many shops offering local crafts

Day 9

Puerto Vallarta

Smaller and more subdued than Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta has retained a good deal of its small village charm along with 26 miles of spectacular beaches along the Banderas Bay. Your cruise departs at 6pm so plenty of time to enjoy a full day in this great seaside resort.

Day 10

At Sea

After the busyness of the last few days you have a full day to enjoy the wonders of this magnificent vessel. Take a splash in the waterpark, enjoy a taste sensation of Texas at the smokehouse or enjoy a drink or two in one of many stunning bars on board. If you have a sweet tooth you must try Norwegian Cruise Lines first ever Chocolate Café, Coco’s, a desert lover’s dream.

Day 11

Arrive back into Los Angeles and make your own way to the airport for your overnight flight home
