Day 1

Denver arrival

Fly to Denver, the Mile High City, and transfer independently to your hotel (there’s a quick and easy train that links the airport to the city centre) where you will meet your tour director.

Day 2


You have a full day to enjoy this lovely city, and your tour director will be on hand to give you advice. Union Station is worth a visit, with its individual coffee shops and bars, there’s some great shopping and a handful of interesting museums.

Day 3

Denver – Rocky Mountains – Cheyenne - Casper

This morning you will drive through the spectacular Rocky Mountain National Park and enjoy stunning views of the mountains. Cross from the state of Colorado into Wyoming passing through its capital city Cheyenne, and onto Casper. This town is steeped in western history, so you’ll enjoy an authentic experience of the Old West and the legacy of the pioneers who forged their way through the mountains and plains on their way to Oregon and California.

Day 4

Casper - Yellowstone

A highlight of the tour today with a journey into America's first national park and nature's wonderland - Yellowstone. Here, the Earth is in action with geysers, mountain ranges and rivers, waterfalls, and ancient volcanoes. The iconic spots - Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs and Yellowstone Canyon - will be familiar from photographs, but seeing them in person is a humbling experience. In addition to superb scenery, the park is one of the world's principal wildlife preserves. Home to eagles, grizzly and black bears, buffalo, elk and more.

Day 5


A full day to experience more of Yellowstone's natural wonders. Marvel at a volcano's hidden power rising up in colourful hot springs, mudpots, and geysers. Explore mountains, forests, and lakes to watch wildlife and witness the drama of the natural world unfold, and enjoy a walk along the park trails and boardwalks.

Yellowstone – Flathead Lake - Kalispell

Leave the wonder of Yellowstone behind and cross the Continental Divide as you make your way alongside the impressive Mission Mountain Range and beautiful shore of Flathead Lake to Kalispell.

Day 7

Kalispell – Glacier National Park - Calgary

This morning you will visit Glacier National Park. Travel along the famed 50-mile Going-to-the-Sun Road, a National Historic Landmark and one of the most epic engineering feats in the World, before crossing the U.S./Canada border into Calgary. Set dramatically between prairies and peaks, Calgary is surrounded by incomparable natural grandeur.

Day 8

Calgary – Banff - Canmore

Continue your journey in Alberta, onward to Banff, Canada's first national park and one of the world's premier destinations. Nestled in the heart of the magnificent Canadian Rockies, Banff features snow-capped peaks, glistening glaciers, forests, meadows, rivers, and sweeping vistas. Spend the day exploring this magnificent area before heading to neighbouring Canmore for the night.

Day 9

Canmore – Lake Louise - Jasper

You’ll begin the day with views of one of the worlds most photographed lakes - Lake Louise. Set against the stark backdrop of Victoria Glacier, you will marvel at the the emerald colours and grandiose.. Continue along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world's most stunning roadways, to Banff's northern counterpart, Jasper National Park.

Day 10

Jasper – Kamloops – Sun Peaks

This morning's drive along the Yellowhead Highway allows you to enjoy British Columbia's stunning scenery the moment you cross the provincial border and enter Mount Robson Provincial Park. Mount Robson is the second oldest park in British Columbia's park system and the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Continue to Kamloops and the charming mountain resort of Sun Peaks for the evening

Day 11

Sun Peaks - Vancouver

Wind your way through Fraser Canyon following the Fraser and Thompson Rivers, following the trails used by early gold seekers and relive their journey through steep canyons, raging rivers, high mountain passes, and rugged scenery. Continue through the lower Fraser Valley to the vibrant coastal city of Vancouver. Nestled between the mountains and the ocean, Vancouver offers visitors an exciting cityscape set within a landscape of stunning, rugged beauty. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a city tour highlighting many of Vancouver's famous sights, including Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, English Bay, Stanley Park and Vancouver Harbour.

Vancouver (Optional trip to Victoria, Vancouver Island)

Today you have a full day of leisure to either explore the wonderful sights of Vancouver independently or take an optional trip (extra charge) over the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island and the capital city of British Columbia – Victoria.

Vancouver - Seattle

Today's journey takes you back across the Canadian American border to the jewel of the Pacific Northwest, Seattle. Set on the waterfront and framed by snowcapped mountains, Seattle is a sophisticated city that offers visitors a real sampling of Northwest life.

Day 14

Seattle – Mount Rainier – Mount St Helens - Portland

Depart this morning for Portland, Oregon's largest city and one of the world's best walking cities. En route, visit Mount Rainier National Park and Mount St. Helens, both active volcanoes and part of the Northwest's "ring of fire." Ascending to over 14,000 feet above sea level, Mount Rainier is the most glaciated peak in America. Just south of Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helens is the youngest and most active volcano in the U.S. Enjoy an evening in Portland, it has a great restaurant scene, but also the best selection of food trucks in North America and is claimed to be home to the world’s best street food!

Day 15

Portland – Newport – Oregon Dunes – Coos Bay

Today, enjoy a scenic drive along Oregon's coastline where spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding forests await. Continue south through Newport and the heart of the central coast to Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Further south is Coos Bay, celebrating a history in ship building and logging. You might want to stroll the boardwalk to enjoy views of the harbour and town.

Day 16

Coos Bay – Redwood National Park – Eureka

Continuing south through Oregon, the rugged coastline offers stunning views, endless beaches, crashing waves and beautiful lighthouses. Journey into California where the spectacular Redwood Coast offers sparkling beaches, cascading rivers, quiet countryside, historic communities and a forest as old as the dinosaurs. Located in the heart of this Redwood Empire, Eureka is one of California's historic landmarks and an "open air museum" of Victorian architecture.

Day 17

Eureka - Sonoma

Today travel south to Northern Califonia's Wine Country where some fo the most famous wines are produced with dazzling displays of colour as the seasons change and a Mediterranean climate.

Sonoma – San Francisco - depart

This morning you will cross the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco where your tour ends. You may want to extend this wonderful holiday with another day or two in San Francisco, or make your way independently to the airport for your flight home.
