Grand Junction Holidays

Grand Junction is set on the north banks of the Colorado River where it is joined by the Gunnison. It is in the middle of the Grand Valley, an important fruit-growing region, historically home to the Ute people and settled by European farmers in the 1880s. Several wineries have been established in recent years in Grand Junction and the Colorado National Monument, a series of canyons and mesas similar to the Grand Canyon, overlook the city.
